Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Specialist with a focus on the music industry, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Research & Trends: Conducting research to stay informed about industry trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics within the music industry and lifestyle sector.
  • Copywriting (for the web): Crafting engaging and persuasive copy for various digital platforms, including websites, social media, email marketing campaigns, and more.
  • Design (Figma): Collaborating with the design team to create visually compelling assets using Figma, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Social Media Content Creation: Developing snackable content for social media platforms, including but not limited to graphics, videos, and interactive posts, to drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Video Editing: Editing and producing video content for social media and other digital channels, showcasing our brand's unique personality and connecting with our target audience.
  • Email Marketing Content: Creating impactful content for email marketing campaigns to effectively engage and nurture our subscriber base.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the music industry, music production communities, and music making tools.
  • Being a musician/producer is not mandatory but a BIG advantage in getting this role.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Language proficiency: English: 10/10 - French: 7/10
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar marketing role, with a focus on the music industry and content creation.
  • Proficiency in video editing software, with a strong command of Figma for design purposes.
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling copy and content for digital platforms, with a solid understanding of web writing best practices.
  • A solid understanding of social media platforms and content trends, with hands-on experience in content creation and community management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
