Job Description

We seek a Senior Unity Developer with expertise in architecture, shaders, and advanced 3D techniques to lead the development of the world building, gamified part of the platform. You will design and optimize our virtual world, integrating assets and ensuring seamless performance to deliver an exceptional user experience for music enthusiasts and creators.

Key Responsibilities

• World Building: Design and implement scalable Unity architectures for our multiplayer environment.
• Shaders, VFX, Graphics: Develop and optimize custom shaders to enhance visual quality and performance.
• Development: Write clean, efficient C# code following best practices within the Unity engine.
• Collaboration: Work with designers, product managers, and other developers to integrate assets and features seamlessly.
• Optimization: Ensure high performance and smooth user experiences across various devices and platforms.
• Problem-Solving: Address and overcome technical challenges in a fast-paced startup setting.

Qualifications

• Must be based in Canada
• Experience: 5+ years in Unity development.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in C# and Unity engine.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles.
• Experience in shader programming and 3D graphics techniques, used to bring scenes to life
• Experience with asset integration, scene optimization, and managing complex environments.
• Knowledge of c++ is a plus
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to tackle and resolve complex technical issues.
• Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Remote Work: Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a remote setup.
• Industry Knowledge: Passion for music and familiarity with DAWs or gaming is a plus.
