About Bounce

Bounce is the go-to event ticketing and community management platform for student unions, student clubs, and nightlife venues across North America. We’re not just a ticketing platform—we’re shaping the way a generation creates and shares unforgettable experiences. Whether it’s a high-energy concert, a campus-wide party, or a small student club event, Bounce is at the heart of how students connect and celebrate.

We’re looking for an Operations Generalist Intern to help scale and refine the processes that power our platform. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments and wants to play a key role in shaping the student event experience. You’ll be working across operations, product, and partner success to improve our workflows, ensure smooth event execution, and help organizers maximize their success.

About the Role

As an Operations Generalist Intern, you’ll be at the intersection of product, partner success, and marketing—helping us improve the experience for student organizers and nightlife venues using Bounce. This means working behind the scenes to refine onboarding processes, optimize event performance, and create playbooks that help our organizers succeed at scale.

On a typical day, you might:

  • Map out and improve the event organizer and venue onboarding experience to ensure they launch successfully on Bounce.
  • Analyze event data to understand what makes top-performing events successful and apply those insights across our platform.
  • Support major campus events with operational execution, working with student leaders and venue managers to make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Test and improve our product features by gathering feedback from event organizers and users.
  • Assist with marketing activations, including campus brand partnerships and social media content related to major events.

This isn’t a sit-back-and-watch kind of internship. You’ll be building, iterating, and executing, while helping define how we scale.

You’re Excited About This Internship Because You Will…

  • Launch. Help student organizers and venues go from onboarding to hosting their first sold-out event on Bounce.
  • Build. Develop operational processes, playbooks, and scalable systems to support our growing user base.
  • Analyze. Use event data to track engagement, identify trends, and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate. Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and partner success teams to improve the user experience.
  • Experiment. Test new initiatives and continuously iterate to make our operations more efficient and impactful.

We’re Excited About You Because…

  • You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. You love solving problems, taking ownership, and wearing multiple hats.
  • You are analytical. You’re comfortable with data and enjoy using it to inform decisions (Excel proficiency required; SQL is a plus).
  • You are customer-obsessed. You care about student event organizers and nightlife venues and want to help them succeed.
  • You are adaptable. Whether it’s supporting a campus-wide concert or troubleshooting an event ticketing issue, you’re ready to jump in.
  • You are an excellent communicator. You’ll be working with student organizers, nightlife venues, and internal teams. Clear communication is key.
  • You are organized and detail-oriented. Whether it’s tracking event performance or managing an operations playbook, you keep everything structured.

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills (Excel proficiency required; SQL and data querying experience is a plus).
  • A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Prior experience in startups, strategy, consulting, operations, or marketing is a plus.
  • Passion for student events, nightlife, or community-building is a strong advantage.

Bonus Points If You…

  • Have been involved in student leadership, event planning, or brand ambassador programs.
  • Have worked in early-stage startups before and love the energy of a high-growth environment.
  • Have experience managing local communities, social media accounts, or event marketing campaigns.

Why You’ll Love Working at Bounce

  • Impact from Day 1. You won’t be fetching coffee—you’ll be working on real projects that shape how thousands of students experience events.
  • Work Hard, Play Hard. We’re in the business of events, so you’ll get firsthand experience at some of the biggest student and nightlife events in North America.
  • Hyper-Growth Startup Experience. If you want to learn how to scale a company from the ground up, there’s no better place to be.

Come be part of a team that’s changing the way a generation connects and celebrates. 🚀
